1. Graduation Applications
2. Exit Counseling Session
Students with Federal Direct Student Loans are required to complete exit counseling in the term that they are graduating. If a student is walking in the 2019 commencement ceremony, but will be engaging in additional classes in subsequent terms they will receive an email notification of when they should complete their exit counseling. Exit counseling begins with an online exit counseling session with a follow-up session conducted by student financial services toward the end of the spring term. Specific information regarding how and when to begin your exit counseling process will be provided toward the end of the spring term.
3. Cap and Gown Pick-up
Once students have completed the exit interview, students will receive a cap and gown clearance.
Students may pick up their Free Cap and Gown during the Exit Counseling and Cap and Gown Pick Up Fair on April 23 and 24 from 10am-2pm in the Atrium, or from the Denver Campus Bookstore beginning April 25.
Students who do not complete a Student Financial Services exit interview will not receive a cap and gown. Students will not be allowed to participate in the ceremonies without a cap and gown.
4. Speaker and Vocalist
The Commencement Committee is seeking a student to deliver the Student Address as well as as student or group to perform the National Anthem during the ceremony.
Interested students should complete the following forms and provide additional materials as necessary.
