For Saturday undergraduate commencement, how many tickets does each graduating student receive?
Each student is entitled to 6 tickets (no more) for their ceremony. Tickets cannot be replaced and students are responsible for distributing them to their guests. Unused tickets may be shared with fellow graduates - the sale of tickets is NOT condoned (do not buy or sell tickets).
What's a name card and what do I do with it?
It's needed to announce your name when crossing the commencement stage. Keep your card in a safe place and bring it with you when arriving to your ceremony. If necessary, you may clearly print on your card the best way to pronounce your name.
When and where do I get my name card & tickets?
Go to the JWU Bookstore (applicable location per your major) during dates listed below (arrive any time, allow up to 10 minutes).
Note: You must first have satisfied Exit Session requirements.
Doctoral and Physician Assistant program students: Please disregard instructions on this page. Do not report to the campus bookstore for a name card. Due to your specialized degree, directors in your program will communicate distribution information to you.
